Family, we have some exciting news! Our very own Timani Richardson, daughter of Wykenia (King) Gillespie and granddaughter of Betty Gillespie has just started her journey to become a lawyer at Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ! This is a huge step towards achieving her lifelong dream, and a chance for her to make a real impact on the world.
Those of us who know Timani well have seen her passion for social justice firsthand. From a young age, she's been a dedicated advocate, working alongside activists, engaging with policymakers, and championing important causes. Now, she's ready to take her commitment to the next level.
Rutgers Law School is the perfect place for Timani to grow and pursue her goals. With its renowned focus on international law, comparative law, and constitutional law, it's the ideal environment for her to become the incredible lawyer she's meant to be.
Timani's ambition is so inspiring! She's not interested in personal gain; she wants to use her knowledge to create a more just and equitable world for everyone. This drive has been clear throughout her life, from graduating with honors at 19 to earning a master's degree at 21, and now starting law school.
To help make this dream a reality, Timani could use our support. While she's received a scholarship, it doesn't cover all of her expenses. Let's come together as a family and contribute to her fundraising goal of $4,500. This will help cover essential costs like books, supplies, and moving expenses.

We are so proud to share that Kimberly Brown-Quarles, daughter of Anthony Gillespie and granddaughter of Betty Gillespie, has graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing! Kimberly received her degree on June 6, 2024. We give thanks for this blessing and celebrate Kimberly's hard work and dedication. We know the Lord has great plans for her life, and we are excited to see how He will continue to work through her in this new chapter.
